How does the time clock know where my crew is?

The field app captures the person's location when they clock in and when they clock out, and checks it against the project area (the geofence). It flags a clock-in outside the area and says how far outside it was.

Does the app track my crew in the background?

No. The app uses location only while it is open. It does not track anyone in the background.

What happens when someone forgets to clock out?

The shift is closed automatically and flagged for review, so a manager can check it and correct the hours if needed.

Can a manager change the hours?

Yes. A manager can add a manual entry or correct one. Every manual entry and correction records who made it, when and why.

Who sees the hours?

Workers see only their own time. Managers see who is on site now and review the team's hours. The hours feed the estimated pay in payroll.
